Dr Nawab Shafi Ul Mulk, co-founder and president of Mulk Med Healthcare, said in an interview with Khaleej Times that the company has partnerships with 100 hospitals and 300 pharmacies worldwide and is working with other healthcare organizations. He added that they are associated with Aster, Al Zahra, Zulekha, Prime, and numerous other reputable hospitals in the UAE.

Privileged cardholders can also take advantage of various services, including 24/7 online consultations, doorstep drug delivery, online consultations, diagnosis, and even surgery.

According to Dr Shafi, if a visitor experiences medical issues while travelling to the UAE, “he/she is liable for a comprehensive medical package of Dh 150,000.” He further stated that the insurance is valid for 90 days.

But he made it clear that In the event of an emergency, insurance coverage is also valid for existing chronic conditions; however, patients with a history of illnesses or diseases cannot make a claim.

The approval period is one day, with urgent situations receiving top priority. And anyone of any age can take advantage of the package.

How To Apply?

Tourists can submit travel insurance applications on the company’s website and through some ticketing platforms with which the company has partnered. Dr Shafi said they intend to collaborate with Emirates and other ticketing websites.

If a traveller wants to apply for insurance, they only need to provide their passport and government-issued identification, and they must also complete a short online application.
